All are welcome to attend our Wednesday Night Bible study:
“Finding JESUS in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation!”
- What: A “survey” class… An informal teaching, discussion-oriented, insight-sharing study of God’s Word
- When: Every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
- Where: We meet in the basement of Jacobs Church (in the former kitchen).
- Why:
- To appreciate the Bible as the history of mankind
- To recognize that the Bible contains God’s plan for us
- To see that all of the Scriptures point to JESUS
- To get to know JESUS better, as we feed on His Word
- How: We are following a “Chronological Bible Reading Schedule,” which is made available to all. The readings have followed the history of God’s people chronologically, from creation all the way through the New Testament. We are currently reading through the letters that were written to the New Testament believers, as Christianity spread throughout world.
- Bring:
- Your Bible (A study Bible with footnotes and cross-references is especially helpful.)
- A notebook and pen or pencil (We do have spiral notebooks available, if needed.)
- A seeking heart!
